This is my journey of paying off debt, learning about money and what it can do and passing
About Me:
Turning a New Leaf
I am a mom of 3 and became in charge of the family finances. Unfortunately, I grew up in a family that never taught me about the virtues or lessons of money. The ironic thing is that they are highly educated people that always tried to keep up with the Joneses, but were always in debt. It's the constant feeling of just scraping by, but looking good on the surface was more important than having money. I've had to self teach and also unlearn many of the mistakes that were passed down from my family, including toxic fears about money or fears about having it. Over the last almost 9 years, we have paid off over $40K of consumer debt. I am still learning about money and also hope to master the dicipline part of it. I dream of owning a small house with lots of land where I can grow a garden and eventually pass it on to my children.
Do you know roughly how long you had the Entry Text window open during your session before you pressed the 'Save and Publish' button? There's a session length maximum of something like 20 minutes. Some people use a browser extension or add-on called Lazarus to preserve their text. Me, I type in a bare bones text editor until my thoughts are as collected as my mind can make 'em, then copy and paste, then 'save and publish.'
Agreed. It times out after a while (the time limit changes though). Safest to always select all and copy before you hit "Submit." then if it fails, start a new entry, hit paste and post it. Haven't lost a post in ages using this method.
